As we crossed the lake on a steamboat Derek got down on one knee, to the surprise and delight of all those on board, including his grandchildren, he presented me with a beautiful engagement ring. Keeping the wedding local means so much to us and we have chosen a lovely Queen Anne style house. Derek will be making a three tiered wedding cake, including a top tier of Cornish Yarg cheese! After the wedding we will fly off to the lovely Isles of Scilly for a few days, where we will start planning our next adventure...
